Well, you found my new page. This is the page that is intended to replace the page that I once had on Multiply.com since it has now been discontinued. I had used that page since at least September 25, 2005 and as of December 1, 2012 Multiply.com is officially discontinuing the Social aspect of their website. They have chosen to focus on the marketing aspect of their site.
The most I really hope to be able to do here is make this a central location for my friends, family and acquaintances to be able to get access to the things I tend to share with them such as photos, recipes, video, etc. Either I will try to place them here or I will at least place links to them as a jumping off point.
So, thank you and have at it.
About me:
I am a native Floridian born and raised in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area.My higher learning took place primarily in the Atlanta, Georgia area specializing in electronics.
I have been living in the Pensacola, Florida area for a few years now. Since late 2009 to more exact.
I am currently unemployed. The economic climate and political hostility towards private business over the past few years has unfortunately prolonged my employment status. Don't worry, I'm not living off the public dole.
I am very eager to make myself useful in regard to employment and contribute to a genuinely professional business as soon as possible.
I would add that I am a no nonsense person. I am logic oriented. I do not align with those who operate on a 'fuzzy-logic' mindset or the emotionally high-strung.
It also helps if you have a capacity for objectivity in your observations and conversations rather than emotionalism. Objectivity is necessary if you expect to harness the advantages of critical thinking. A lack of objectivity can lead to stereotypical knee-jerk reactions and decisions.
I like local travel in the form of road-trips. I like exploring scenic routes and historical sites.
Some hobbies are photography, videography, video editing, film-making, playing the drums, computer programming (although it has been some time). I would have other hobbies if I could afford them such as wood working, model railroad construction including the subsequent air brushing, electronic design and implementation.
I can tend to be an audio/videophile. I would love to design and build my own private theater room for my own enjoyment and that of guests.
I can easily become encapsulated in the diversions of gardening and landscaping. The woodworking would play a role in this aspect as well.
I support the same principles as that of my country's founding fathers. I support free enterprise, the free market, capitalism, and equal justice.
I do no support communism, socialism, entitlement mentality, or social justice. Social justice is nothing more than a politically correct term for preferential treatment.
Oh, I am also proud to say that I am, to quote a "liberal nut" commenter on a news stream, a Tea Party astro-turf and a Christian wack-a-doo.
At one time I was a registered Libertarian. However, I had to change my affiliation to Independent once I had come to observe how many mindlessly militant drones with which I had surrounded myself. Those, specifically, who had merely adopted the Libertarian platform as a means to express that they were for the Constitution and what it stood for, but only so far as it served them personally. Usually doing so as a method to legitimise their own perverse or illegal behavior in indignant self-righteousness. They were and are still often detached from any sense of reality and practicality. And they are most often rigidly against anyone who does not accept their own personal views on the Constitution and this country's history to the point of vile hatred with violent undertones when expressing as much. I just couldn't count myself among those where of this mind. Those who were flying so close to butterfly net territory.
